Settings tab

Settings tab showing regional settings, thresholds, and check schedule

Go to **Admin → Settings** — you land on this tab by default.

Update your property logo

Click **Upload logo** under **Property Logo**. It’s displayed in the header for all users and on printed/exported documents (JPEG, PNG, SVG or WebP, max 2MB).

Import from Chef-Safe-Pro

Under **Import from Chef-Safe-Pro**, drop a `.chefops` file exported from Chef-Safe-Pro to automatically populate your temperature settings, cleaning schedule, and pest control records.

Set regional and threshold values

Work down the page to set:

**Regional Settings** — site address, currency, and temperature units (metric/imperial)

**Refrigeration Thresholds** — fridge min/max, freezer coldest/warmest allowed

**AM/PM Check Windows** — the times that define AM and PM everywhere they’re used (fridge/food temperature logging, checklist AM/PM tagging, AM/PM Routines)

**Food Cost Target** — your target food cost percentage

**Food Temperature Thresholds** — cooked min, reheated min, chilled min/max, and minimum logs required per AM/PM session

**Hot Hold — Hotbox** and **Hot Hold — Display** — minimum holding temp, max hold/display time, and logging interval

**Blast Chill Thresholds** — target temperature and time limit

**Holiday Allowance** — annual holiday days per staff member (UK statutory minimum is 28 days including bank holidays)

Each field has a **?** icon with an explanation. When you’re done, click **Save settings** at the bottom.

Set your check schedule

Under **Check Schedule**, choose **Consistent opening times** (a fixed weekly pattern — toggle **AM** and **PM** to **OPEN** for each day) or **Sporadic / event-based** (no fixed pattern; compliance scoring follows whichever days have a published rota instead).

Control staff document access

Tick **Allow staff to export and print temperature logs** if you want non-admins to have that ability — by default, Export CSV and Print/PDF are restricted to Admins.

Enable or disable job roles

Under **Job Roles**, click **Disable** or **Enabled** next to each role (Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Porter, etc.) to control which roles appear in invite and rota dropdowns.

Join an organisation

If your property is part of a multi-site organisation, scroll to **Organisation** at the bottom of the Settings tab, enter the invite code (format `XXXX-XXXX-XXXX`) provided by your organisation’s Super Admin, and click **Join Organisation**.

Once linked, your organisation’s Super Admin may lock certain settings or modules to keep standards consistent across the portfolio. A locked field or module appears fixed on your side and can’t be changed here — this is expected, not a bug.

Suppliers tab

Click the **Suppliers** tab to maintain your property’s approved supplier list — add, rename, or remove suppliers here so staff logging deliveries pick from an approved list.

Modules tab

Click the **Modules** tab to enable or disable the features your property uses — refrigeration monitoring, food temperature logging, blast chill tracking, maintenance, rotas, procurement, food cost, team log, EHO reporting, HACCP checklists, training records, incident reports, food safety management (SFBB), delivery temperatures, allergen management, outlets, AM/PM routines, and risk assessments.

Manage Outlets tab

If you run more than one outlet at this property, click the **Manage Outlets** tab to add, rename, or remove outlets. Staff are then assigned a primary outlet (and optional cover outlets) from [Users & Access](human-resources.md).

Billing tab

Click the **Billing** tab to view your subscription status and manage payment details.

## Audit Log

Audit Log listing recent module and access changes

Go to **Admin → Audit Log** for a timestamped record of significant actions taken within your property — module toggles, user access changes, settings changes, and more. Every key event is logged automatically; you cannot edit or delete entries.
